Ecotourism Peru Cusco Travel Packages

Cusco City Tour

This fabuolous half day tour takes you around all the most important sites of Cusco. Including visits to Cusco Cathedral, the Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha) and the various Inca sites found outside of the city you get to see an incredible mixture of Inca and Spanish-style and in the case of Qoricancha, the two combined. Cusco is truly a fascinating place to visit; providing a blend of the two cultures (Inca and Spanish) the city has a look and feel about it that is completely different to the rest of Peru. This tour is a must-do when visiting Cusco and is usually one of the first ports of call for all visiting tourists.

The Sacred Valley of The Incas

The Sacred Valley tour is one of the most popular tours in the region. The Sacred Valley of the Incas was a crucial area for the Inca empire and it functioned as both an agricultural, spiritual and political center for them. Throughout its length there are many Inca and Pre-Inca sites that can be found and the Sacred Valley tour visits the 2 main sites, Pisac and Ollantaytambo. Lasting a full day you will get to appreciate the fine works of craftmanship that the Incas produced and see the beautiful scenery of the Sacred Valley. Many tourists opt to do this tour just before their visit to Machu Picchu as you can choose to finish in Ollantaytambo from where you take the train on to Aguas Calientes (the town at the base of Machu Picchu).

Maras - Moray

This tour introduces to some of Cuscos most interesting Inca sites. The tour starts with a visit to the Colonial town of Maras and its church. From Maras we continue to the nearby Inca site of Moray, a magnificent series of terrace circles set into the ground that were once used by the Incas for experimentation with crops. Our final destination are the salt mines which have been in use since Pre-Inca times. Water from a subterranean stream is channelled through pools where it evaporates and leaves behind pure salt crystals. With thousands of stark white pools stretching down the valley, the views are stunning.

South Valley, Pikillacta

This half day tour combines Inca architecture and pre- Inca architecture with a visit to the chapel of Andahuaylillas known as the Sistine Chapel of the Americas. TIPON is a beautiful agricultural site and a fine example of the Incas’ ability to control irrigation. PIKILLACTA: 30 km to the south of Cuzco, this pre-Inca archaeological site was the stronghold of the Wari tribe. ANDAHUAYLILLAS, we will visit the chapel with to see its famous fresco paintings and beautiful gold alter.

South Valley Circuit

The Valle Sur (South Valley) just outside Cusco is little known to foreign tourists.
